Turns everything around the center of the drawing β a negative angle turns it the other way. Rectangles become outlines at odd angles. Undo brings it back.
β How 2D DRAW works
2D DRAW is your drafting pad. Sketch a part, open a DXF or a program file, measure it exactly β then send it to the G-code Generator to turn the outlines into a cutting program.
THE TOOLS (TOP BAR)
Select β tap a shape to select it, drag it to move it. Drag empty canvas to pan. A selected shape's exact numbers can be edited in Properties on the right. Shift+tap picks several shapes at once (they all light up gold) β then Delete removes them all in one go.
Line β tap the start point, tap the end point.
Rect β tap one corner, then the opposite corner (squares and rectangles).
Circle β tap the center, then a point on the edge to set the radius.
Arc β tap the start, a point on the curve, then the end. 2D DRAW solves the true radius through all three points.
Spline β tap points for a smooth freeform curve; double-tap (or β Finish) to end it.
Cut β split a shape right where you tap: lines, rectangles, circles, arcs and paths divide into two pieces there (a circle breaks open into an arc).
RAD β round a corner for real: tap two lines that meet, type the radius, and both lines are trimmed back with a true arc fitted in. Nothing extra is left behind. Rectangles work too β tap one right at a corner and its two edges are picked for you.
Chamfer β the same two-line pick, but the corner is cut straight across at the distance you type.
Offset β tap a line, circle, arc or rectangle, type the distance, then tap the side where the parallel copy should go. Circles and arcs grow or shrink around the same center.
Measure β tap two points and the exact distance shows on the canvas and on the right, with ΞX and ΞY. Near a shape it snaps exactly: the CENTER of circles, squares, lines and arcs first, plus ends, midpoints and radius points β watch for the blue ring and its label so you always measure the point you meant.
Pan β drag to move around the canvas. Pinch with two fingers zooms; the mouse wheel zooms at the cursor.
Fit β zoom so the whole drawing fits the screen, centered.
Views β Top / Front / Side / Iso β see your drawing from the front, from the side, or tilted in isometric, like the simulator's graph views. Views are display only: the drawing, its numbers and its exports never change, and you can keep drawing and editing in any view.
Mirror β flips the selected shape over its own center, leftβright or topβbottom.
Copy β duplicates the selected shape, nudged over a touch so you can drag it into place.
Rotate β turn the WHOLE drawing around its center: one-tap 45Β° / 90Β° / 180Β° / 270Β° or type any angle (negative turns the other way).
Snap β when on, points you place click onto the grid (half a grid step) so numbers stay clean. Measure's shape snapping works either way.
Dims β show or hide the size labels drawn on each shape (Γ, R, lengths, WΓH). The header pill does the same β handy for a clean look at the layout.
Undo / Redo β step back or forward through your changes.
Delete β removes the selected shape. π Clear wipes the canvas (Undo brings it back).
THE TOP BAR
Open β DXF drawings (circles and radius arcs read true, bulges included β a round made of arc pieces reads as ONE full circle), .json drawings you saved here, and .pim / .nc / .gcode programs, which plot as their toolpath.
Save Asβ¦ β the name decides the format: .dxf (default, opens anywhere), .json (re-open it here later), .png (a picture).
Save as PNG β quick picture of the canvas.
Send to Generator β sends this drawing to the G-code Generator: part size, bolt circles and holes pre-fill, and the βοΈ Profile tab cuts your exact outlines with true G2/G3 arcs and complete circles.
IN / MM β switches the labels only; the drawing itself never rescales. Opening a DXF sets it from the file.
GOOD TO KNOW
β’ Everything runs right here on the page β nothing uploads until you tap Send to Generator.
β’ The right panel lists every shape with its measurements; tap a row to select that shape.
β’ Keyboard: Delete removes the selection, Esc cancels, Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y undo and redo, F fits the view.
